Boomerang 8 ready to order!
Game on!
The Boomerang 8 has already proved to be the wing to beat in 2011. Over the winter, we've been flying around 10 protos which have consistently placed in the top 3 at most recent comps, including overall victory at the 2011 PWC Colombia.
We've made further improvements still to the final version, which will go into production at the end of March.
The main features of the Boomerang 8 are stability at speed, climbing ability and all-round comfort for this class of wing.
Double World Champion Petra Slívová joins the GIN tribe
Petra Slívová, double world champion and triple European champion, has joined the GIN team. She will fly the Boomerang 8, convinced by the qualities shown by the wing at PWC Colombia in January 2011. She explains her motivations for making her comeback:
"In 2008 and 2009, I had to take some time off after my second World Championship title. Competition demands a huge personal investment, we travel a lot and it's wearing. At that time, I needed something else outside paragliding...Matej my son arrived."

Tüm zamanların en iyi bayan pilotu Petra Slivova, Gin Gliders Türkiye işbirliği ile XC eğitimi vermeye Türkiyeye geliyor. Bu sene Gin takımına geçerek Boomerang 8 ile yarışma kararı alan Petra, PWC Kore dönüşü ülkemize gelerek 3 günlük XC uçuş ve teorik seminer tarzı bir eğitime katılacaktır.
Öncelikle bayan sporcularımız için planlanan bu eğitim programı 24-28 Mayıs arasında değişik uçuş bölgelerinde gerçekleştirilecektir.

Michael Sigel won in PWC Colombia with Boomerang8!!!
The first event of PWC 2011 was held in Roldanillo, Colombia. They had good weather in all the competition days, and 6 tasks were valid. Because of variable air condition, it was difficult to keep leading the race and competition.
Sigel led these races aggressively and he won task1 and task4. He showed impressive flight with Boomerang8 in all these tasks and finally he got a first place in overall of PWC Colombia.
